Music and Sound Production with Scratch

In Music & Sound, students use the computer to play musical notes, create a music video, and build an interactive music display while learning how programming is used to create music.
In the process, they learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively  — essential skills for everyone in today’s society. This is camp is suitable for ages 7-11. By the end of this program, students will be ready to take on more complex visual programming courses and be on their way to learning text-based coding languages like HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

At the end of this camp students will learn:

• Visual Programming fundamentals
• Algorithms and Sequences
• Sound and Music design principles
• Music Genre
• Software engineering

This camp runs Monday - Friday from 9am - 3:30pm. For extended hours, before-care (8am-9am) and after-care (3:30pm-6pm) may be purchased at additional cost.
