Hour of Code

Hour of Code is an extra hour inclusive with every purchase of courses at Tech Dream Lab. It is a time for students to come into the lab and work on their projects, get ahead in the curriculum or make up for any missed class. Expect engaging activities during the hour of code or bring your own ideas and an instructor will be there to help realize your vision. It’s really time to free build or code!

How does it work?

  • Check-in: Parents must check-in each week through our website to notify staff that they are dropping off their child for Hour of Code.
  • Choose block of time: Hour of Code runs on an hourly shift basis, you must select between 5:30pm – 6:30pm or 6:30pm – 7:30pm between Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
  • Show up: To leverage the hour of code a student must have an active enrollment to participate. Once all the above conditions check out just show up!

Classes are held on Saturdays and run for 1 hour 15 mins plus an additional 1 Hour of Code during the weekday, making a total of 2 hours 15 mins workload per week. Students are free to come in on any of the days assigned to make up their hour of code. Please see timetable for schedule of regular classes and hour of code.
