Drone Delivery & Aviation Camp

Drone Delivery & Aviation Camp is a STEM-based and aerospace exploratory camp that pushes campers to deepen their understanding of aerospace, flight movements, drone technology. Campers participate in hands-on activities playing in our state-of-the-art labs, building and launching Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). Campers learn how scientists create and use computer programs to operate various aircraft systems while programming artificial intelligence into their robots. Campers will also experience the power of virtual reality (VR) technology as they simulate flight sequences and recreate flight paths used by companies like Amazon to deliver packages.

This camp runs Monday – Friday from 9 am – 3:00 pm. For extended hours, before-care (8 am-9 am) and after-care (3:30 pm-6 pm) may be purchased at an additional cost during checkout.

Camp Overview:

Day 1: Kick Starter

We start by familiarizing all campers with the subject in focus with mini and quick projects, nothing too serious at this point. Campers get to meet each other, make friendships that will become helpful bonds throughout the week. By the end of day one, campers will have the big picture of the week in mind and feel ready to take on the rest of the week.

Day 2: Explore

Campers begin to explore a wide range of concepts around the theme of the camp. They learn from our expert tutors through guided practice as they start to get a grasp of the curriculum. By the end of day two, campers will be ready for more hands-on activities on day three.

Day 3: Engage

Campers begin to partner up with each other to implement the concepts learned so far. Campers are presented with more challenging projects and encouraged to collaborate to solve complex problems. By the end of day three, campers are ready to begin to develop original ideas for the capstone project.

Day 4: Project

Campers will start to develop, design, and implement their project ideas. They are encouraged to take the lead and come up with initiatives based on all they have learned throughout the week. By the end of day four, campers are ready for their final presentation.

Day 5: Presentation

The atmosphere is already beaming with excitement and curiosity at this point as campers get ready to make final presentations to demonstrate their knowledge and mastery of the concepts learned throughout the week.
